What we are not...
Now that you know who and what we are, you should know what we're not. We are not a retail store, meaning that we do not sell new Apple computers, products, or accessories (we recommend visiting an Apple Store or going through an Apple Authorized Reseller for that).
macVolks, Inc. is an Apple Authorized Service Provider and member of the Apple Consultants Network (ACN), located in Concord, California. Accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) with an A+ rating, macVolks offers a dynamic range of services and will travel all over the San Francisco Bay Area supporting a range of clientele - from Fortune 500 Companies to Mom and Pop with their first iMac.
macVolks, Inc. was originally founded in 1990 on the idea that good help can be hard to find, when it really shouldn't be. We believe that you should be treated honestly and fairly, because that's how we like to be treated, too!
What's in a name...
When macVolks, Inc. first started over 30 years ago, our service calls and repairs were originally performed out of a Volkswagen camper van - complete with service parts and a soldering iron! Although we don't drive the camper vans anymore, we still offer the same honest and reliable service (perhaps even more reliable, as we no longer have the VW camper vans and have our own tech shop). ;)
We are Macintosh people or folk, or “volks” which is how we became macVolks!
All of our technicians are Apple Certified Mac Technicians. We stay up-to-date with the latest Apple products releases and are certified to work on every Apple computer currently available. Is your machine seven years old or older? Not a problem! We love legacy machines!
